Services for July 26, 2020

We hope that you will gather with us for our Ladies’s service (Sunday, July 26th) at 10:30 am. Our Sunday services will be live-streamed on Facebook for those unable to attend. Next week (Sunday, August 2) men and women are encouraged to gather as one as we celebrate the Lord’s Table (please note that there will NOT be child care or children’s ministry until the fall). The seniors are continuing to meet at 10:00 am on Tuesdays each week.

Please join us this Sunday (Sunday, July 26th) at 5:00 pm for a congregational meeting. We will meet to vote on the sale of the parsonage and adjustment to Pastor Jonathan’s salary.

Senior Servants Schedule

As noted above, the Senior Servants are meeting at 10:00 am on Tuesday. However, on Tuesday, August 4th we will NOT gather because the township will be utilizing our building for the primary elections. Please pass this announcement along to our other Senior Servants who may not have electronic access to the bulletin.

Youth Day Camp/Retreat

We are excited to put a youth retreat on the calendar and to be able to have that time with the teens! After getting feedback from all of you, we are hoping these dates work well for you!

Friday and Saturday, August 21st and 22nd at Bethany Baptist Church. Drop off 9:00 a.m. to pick up 10:00 p.m.

(If your teen needs a ride home, we would be more than happy to get them home safely on Friday or Saturday. Just let us know if you need this.)
We will send out a few more details about our time together in the weeks to come!

Bottle Deposits for Missions

Is your garage filling up with pop cans? Don’t want to wait in endless lines when you can finally return those cans? Let us worry about storing and returning your cans and we will use the bottle deposit returns for Pastor Chris’ trip to Sri Lanka.

If you would be interested in donating your cans, please contact Pastor Jonathan and he will arrange a time with you to bring your cans to the church building.

Online Giving

As we begin to regather we will still utilize methods of giving that help to limit personal contact. Please see the information posted previously for ways in which you can give during these unique days (here: https://www.bbgb.org/covid-19-giving/).
