Services for August 23, 2020

We hope that you will gather with us (men and women!) as we worship together this Sunday. Please note that there will NOT be child care or children’s ministry until Sunday, September 6. Parents are welcome to have their children join them in the auditorium, or utilize the Narthex to worship as a family. We will continue to livestream our services for the foreseeable future. If you have concerns about gathering together in person we ask that you join us online. Our senior gatherings on Tuesday will also be continuing throughout the weeks ahead.

Men Needed

We need men to help on Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm with moving tables and chairs upstairs for use on Sunday.
We also need men to come on Sunday morning (Aug.30) at 9AM to move tables and chairs outside for our gathering

Combined Worship Service with OneLife

Join us on August 30th at 10:30 AM for a combined outdoor worship service (weather permitting) followed immediately by a potluck. Bring a chair, a dish to pass, and enjoy some time of fellowship with other believers! We will undoubtedly need some volunteers to assist with setup, tear down, and in other areas. More details can be found on our Facebook page, here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1455304287989050

Please see the following signup genius to indicate what food items you would be able to bring for our picnic https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0b4cada629a4fc1-combined

Baptism and New Members

On Sunday, September 6 we will be welcoming several new members and witnessing the baptism of several adults and children. Please be sure to join us for this important day!

Baby Shower for Sally Shumaker

Bethany Ladies are invited to celebrate Sally Shumaker and Baby this Sunday at 4:00pm at Bethany. Sally is registered at Target and Amazon.

Bottle Deposits for Missions

Is your garage filling up with pop cans? Don’t want to wait in endless lines when you can finally return those cans? Let us worry about storing and returning your cans and we will use the bottle deposit returns for Pastor Chris’ trip to Sri Lanka.

If you would be interested in donating your cans, please contact Pastor Jonathan and he will arrange a time with you to bring your cans to the church building.

Online Giving

As we begin to regather we will still utilize methods of giving that help to limit personal contact. Please see the information posted previously for ways in which you can give during these unique days (here: https://www.bbgb.org/covid-19-giving/).
