Financial Giving During COVID-19

The outbreak of COVID-19 has caused life to change in many ways. We understand that everyone is going through a time of change. Families with school age children are now home schooling them. Many of us are working from home while some might have lost their ability to work. Some people are feeling afraid, while others deal with the loneliness of isolation. At Bethany, we have replaced our gatherings with Zoom meetings and FB live options. In spite of these changes, please know we love you and pray for you regularly as we have always done. We are a family and if you have needs during this unusual time, please reach out to us so that we might ease your burden.

As you are aware, the expenses of Bethany are met by your faithful giving. Even though we are not meeting together at our regular times, we do continue to have ongoing expenses. Since, we are unable to collect our financial gifts in the usual way (when we gather together) we would like to encourage you in your faithful giving to Bethany using some alternative methods listed below:
  • You can mail your offerings to Bethany Baptist Church 2353 E Grand Blanc Rd, 48439 or stop by the church building, when you go to the grocery store, to drop off your financial gift in one of the offering boxes in the auditorium.
  • You can give online through our giving portal on our website (bbgb.org) by clicking the Donate to Bethany Here link on the home page and then follow the easy instructions.
  • You can give from our App (Bethany Grand Blanc in the App Store). Click on the menu tab in the upper left and choose the donate tab. It will then send you to our website to make your donation.
  • You can set up a direct deposit from your bank to Bethany‚Äôs bank for your financial gift. Dave Wass, who is the Treasurer of the church can assist you with this method if you should choose it.

On behalf of our Elders, I would like to share this final thought. During this time of uncertainty we need to remember that our God has not and never will change. He is our rock upon which we have built our lives. I do not know when our current circumstances might change, but I am grateful that you are a part of my family. May we face this time together, united in spirit and intent on one purpose.

Abiding in Him,
Chris Tenneriello
